Welcome to the Wood County Chapter of The Ohio Horseman's Council. Our Chapter started back in 1996 with a membership that would fit around a kitchen table. Over the years we have grown and grown, and keep on growing, all with one common bond; the love of our equine buddies.
Why become a member of the Wood County OHC? There are many reasons to become a member of the Wood County OHC. Here are just a few!
As a group of individuals who love to ride our horses, we have the ability to voice our opinions at the state level and can make a difference on issues that affect horses and the many wonderful trails we ride them on. We report all of the miles that we ride each year, so that the State of Ohio KNOWS that we are here, and that we are using the bridle trails at the parks. We want those trails to be around for years to come, so it's important to let our voice be heard!
We hold our monthly meetings on the first Monday of the month at the China East Buffet Restaurant, located in Fostoria on RT. 23 at 7:00pm. Please feel free to join us, and see what we are all about.
